Hey there, I'm a London based designer focussed on making simple, beautiful and lovable products. I spend at least 40 hours of my week designing the future at a top secret location, but I also have other projects on the go. I graduated from Loughborough University in 2014 with a 4.0GPA and hold the succinctly titled degree of: "BA in Industrial Design and Technology with a Diploma in International Studies accredited by the Institution of engineering designers".
Much of the work I do spends its time happily nestled behind an NDA, but as and when things go public I update my website. My work spans industrial, product, service and UX. I aim for holism and consider the circumstances and wider scenarios of use, emotions, physical states and connotations of a design. I apply a people-centred iterative design process and have full stack experience taking ideas from sketches, to prototypes, to rounds of testing with customers, to finalized mocks and prototypes, to stakeholders, to company leadership, to developers and to millions of customers (often starting at 1%). I also like cats.
"Stiven approaches every project with tremendous enthusiasm and always champions users’ needs. His design work outside of UX is equally impressive, he is perhaps the most creative person I have ever met. To top it all, he's an absolute joy to have around."
"A joy to work with, both questioning and good at proposing realistic solutions working within tight technical and time constraints. If you get the chance to work with him grasp the opportunity, you'll enjoy it"
"Stiven is truly a inspirational and extremely talented individual."
"An intelligent, flexible and hands-on designer, who successfully executed any design task we gave him. Besides in-depth design skills, Stiven brings in a pro-active, can-do attitude: He sees what is needed."
