When you buy something with your Chase Debit card, you get a percentage of your purchase back in rewards—not a month from now, but every day.
It's real cash, so unlike rewards or points, it never loses its value, and being pounds and pence, it's super easy to understand.
You can choose to leave it to build up in your rewards balance, redeem it to your current account to spend, or stash it in a saver where it can earn interest.
Designed around the mantra "effortlessly rewarding," the brief here included the product definition and shaping, the costing and projections, sign-up onboarding, and daily use. We completed a series of information architecture-focused research rounds and usability testing, and went really deep on the details to ensure the experience was as seamless and simple as possible whilst also being nothing like any other banks offering.

We include the sign-up step in the onboarding experience when you join Chase. So there's no way anyone will miss out, and you start earning cashback from day one.
Starting at home with the most important information, you can then dip into the details of the cashback offer or dive deeper for more granular information, such as the FAQs and excluded shop types.
We structured the hub based on the aspects that customers highlighted as most important to them.
Check your cashback balance by scrolling to the bottom of the home page or tapping on a transaction to see how much you earned from each spend.
With spend notifications turned on, you not only see what you've spent but also what you've earned. So you can feel a little extra spark of joy when you buy that cheeky morning latte.
Your cashback is paid daily to your rewards balance. You can choose to keep it set aside to reduce temptation, move it to your current account to spend, or deposit it into a savings account and earn interest.
All the colors and text in rewards have been designed to be accessible, support text resizing, and the design checks and specs included full screen reader tags.
The colors are also checked for WCAG 2.1 accessibility contrast.
As some people can find movement distracting, we honor the system setting and pause the animation if the customer's mobile device is set to have low motion
